Paying the ticket means pleading guilty. The conviction sits on your abstract and can affect insurance pricing for roughly three years—often costing more than the original fine.

How many demerit points do you receive for speeding?

Two points up to 15 km/h over, three from 16–30, four from 31–50, and six for more than 50 km/h over. Points stay for two years from your conviction date.

How long do I have to dispute a ticket?

The exact deadline is printed on your ticket. Contact us before that date—once the due date passes, your options narrow sharply.

Can I fight a photo radar ticket?

Yes. Photo radar tickets have their own evidentiary and insurance considerations. Send us yours and we’ll explain where you stand.

What happens if I was caught more than 50 km/h over?

Your ticket will not list a fine and you must appear in court, where a judge determines the penalty. These matters can involve licence suspension or vehicle seizure and should be reviewed immediately.
